SWAROVSKI x CHARLES LU  On October 2017, Swarovski hosted the Swarovski Sparkling Couture event which showcased more than 40 international designers in Dubai. Amongst them, Arushi Couture x Charles Lu was chosen to represent Dubai, and the middle east. That year’s inspiration drew from the main theme: Infinity. ‘Light’ being weightless, strong, with the ability pierce through darkness was drawn as a key inspiration. Playing with how light refracts materials and creates rays, the design emanates beam motifs from the body with moments of strong linearity.
