PRO-CHROMA is the last and final collection of a trilogy for Arushi Couture x Charles Lu. INARA 2017/18 had a theme centred on white light, newness, and birth. KINTSUGI 2018/19 focused on darkness and repair; a concept exploring strength and triumph over strife. PRO CHROMA 2018/19 is the final stage. This collection focuses of the aftermath of light passing through darkness exploring the prism and the colours that exist within white light. This idea is linked to rebirth and unapologetic exploration of happiness and boldness with valiant colours and striking combinations highlighted mainly by silver and white, icy tones. Structure and lightness is contrasted with detailed seamlines and transparent materials. Black is used to play off primary colours. Modernity, clean lines, curated volumes, and solid colours are juxtaposed with textural and beaded finishes. Graphic prints are accented with architectural pleats.
